Terms of Service

Last Updated: June 20, 2026

Welcome to KirinPOS. Before purchasing or using our POS software and hardware systems, please read the following Terms of Service carefully. Your purchase or use of our services constitutes your acceptance of these terms.

1. Description of Services

KirinPOS provides restaurant ordering and management systems (including software licensing and related bundled hardware). Our services include:

  • Lifetime license for KirinPOS software (single-store, single-server license).
  • One-time purchase plans with no mandatory ongoing subscription fees.
  • Menu entry services, system installation, remote technical support, and training services.

2. Software Licensing and Restrictions

  • Scope of License: The license granted to you is strictly limited to use within a single physical storefront. For use across multiple chain locations, separate licenses must be purchased per store.
  • Prohibition of Resale: You may not reverse engineer, crack, modify, or resell our software.
  • Software Updates: We provide lifetime free software upgrades. However, we are not liable if your hardware becomes too obsolete to run the latest software versions.

3. Hardware Sales and Warranty

  • Quality Guarantee: Customers purchasing a complete system bundle receive a 12-month hardware replacement warranty (covering non-accidental damage).
  • Third-Party Hardware: If you purchase the software only and use your own equipment, we are not responsible for data loss or system crashes caused by the instability of third-party hardware.
  • Return Policy: Once hardware products are shipped, change-of-mind refunds are generally not accepted unless there is a confirmed quality defect or a material software functional flaw.

4. Limitation of Liability

We strive to deliver the most stable system possible, but to the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We accept no liability for any loss of business turnover or revenue resulting from power outages, internet failures, or system disruptions.
  • We strongly advise users to back up system data regularly as a precautionary measure.
  • When operating in offline mode, users must ensure that the main server host has sufficient local storage space and remains free from malware corruption.

5. Data Processing

You are solely responsible for safeguarding all customer privacy data entered into the system; we act strictly as the data processing service provider. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

6. Amendments to Terms

KirinPOS reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any major changes via system notifications or official announcements.

7. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the relevant UK courts or arbitration institutions.
